Herzing College's Mental Health and Addictions Worker diploma program is now approved by the Canadian Addiction Counsellors Certification Federation (CACCF), Canada's addiction workforce regulator. ## DO EMPLOYERS LOOK FOR CCAC OR ICADC CERTIFICATION?

## WHAT ELSE IS NEEDED TO BECOME FULLY CERTIFIED?

- Complete supervised clinical training hours in the field

## FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

 What does CACCF approval mean for Herzing's Mental Health and Addictions Worker program?

 It means CACCF has reviewed the program's curriculum and confirmed it meets the educational requirements for the ICADC and CCAC certifications, and the program is now listed among CACCF's approved curriculum offerings.

 What is the difference between ICACD and CCAC?

 Both are addictions counselling certifications administered through CACCF.
